Downhill Skiing + Snowboarding

Come play in the snow in Northeastern Ontario! Whether you’re a downhill speed demon or a first-timer just trying to avoid a faceplant, Northeastern Ontario has what it takes to make your winter fun!

Strap on two skis or a single snowboard for the thrills—and maybe spills—of spending a day at one of our top-notch hills. Scenic settings, great runs, and lots and lots of snow capped off with a fine après-ski meal make for a mighty memorable day on the slopes.

Attention skiers, snowboarders and snowshoers: Northeastern Ontario offers pristine trails and runs at great prices, with a season that starts earlier and ends later than its southern Ontario counterparts. Here are some fantastic ski areas to consider.

Be sure to call ahead or check each venue’s social media or website for up-to-the-minute information on opening dates and snow conditions, as well as COVID-19 safety requirements.

Call ahead for the latest status from each ski hill on opening dates, snow conditions, and safety measures in place.
