The Alex Dufresne Gallery is pleased to present
Let’s pARTy: Callander Celebrates Canada!
This exhibit will feature 19 local artists with one goal in mind: create art pieces that express what Canada means to them or what comes to their mind when they think of our country. From landscapes, sports, and landmarks, to culture, traditions and music, the possibilities are vast and the end result will be an exhibit fitting for Canada’s 150th.
Participating artists: Marianne Vander Dussen, Margaret Pappoulas, Jürgen Mohr, Francine Noiseaux, Jackie Carter, Judy Elston, Trevor Busch, Jill Boschulte, Julie Patterson, Lise King, Margaret Cunningham, Cindy Bazinet, Jack Lockhart, Morgan Walker, Rick Wade Cunnington, Mary Lahaie, Patricia Kirton-Bailey, Arthur Ranney and Judith Ingwersen.
The opening reception will take place on July 8th from 2-4 pm. There will be light refreshments, and the museum will have free admission. Some of the artists will be present as well and we’ll have a cake too!
Note: the exhibit will be installed by June 30th and will be open on July 1st for Callander’s Funfest Canada Day celebrations. If you’re here for Funfest come and stop by and get an early look!
