Planned for the week of March 13 – 17, March Break Camp offers full and half days of different art themed adventures and classes. The sessions are geared to students four to 14 years old and provide art education through hands-on, collaborative activities.

Here’s a look at the March Break Camp 2017 lineup:

Monday, March 13 – Big, Bold, Paint!
Explore abstract and realistic painting techniques in this fun and creative class. Children leave with a finished watercolour and acrylic painting.

Tuesday, March 14 – Pottery Palooza!
Discover the world of clay. Learn handbuilding, decoration and casting techniques. Take home some sculptural masterpieces!

Wednesday, March 15 – Print Party!
Work with lino block and foam sheets to create magical stamps and prints. Work on a large scale collaborative print project as well as creating your own unique images.

Thursday, March 16 – Maskamania!
Masks, masks, and more masks!! Work with a variety of recycled and mixed media materials to transport yourself to an imagined world.

Friday, March 17 – Mash up!
Create your own mystical creature or caricature and watch them come to life through vintage cartoons and mixed media sculptural creations. Let your imagination run wild!
