5 Reasons Hunters Are Heading to the Manitoulin Deer Show

Fall is in the air, which means hunting season is here! Bear hunting is already open in most parts of the region, but on Manitoulin Island, they are prepping for a different kind of game – white-tail deer. Hosted in Manitowaning by the Township of Assiginack, the 3rd Annual Manitoulin Deer Show is a one stop shop for hunters to prepare for your season, get the gear you need, and maybe even add a new firearm to your collection!

Taking place this year on August 27th, 2016 from 10 am to 3 pm, here are five reasons why this annual event should be on every hunter’s calendar.

1. Win a New Firearm

In fact, there are chances to win two! Show up at the door, and your name will be automatically entered in the door prize draw. Bring in a deer mount for display, and you could win the second. For every mount you bring in, receive an entry into the draw.
