Manitoulin Eco Park (formerly known as Gordon’s Park) is a unique outdoor destination in Northeastern Ontario, Providing space and opportunities for people to experience the natural world through recreational camping; hands-on experiential learning; educational programs about land-based cultures, local flora and fauna, wilderness/survival skills, astronomy, and regenerative eco-culture.
With facilities on 268 acres of beautiful land, including an officially designated Dark Skies preserve, we are able to offer a place and practices to allow groups to gather safely outdoors in all seasons.
We offer camping, tipi tenting, a stargazing cabin, wilderness campsites, camping cabins, a bed & breakfast, educational hiking trails, a nature interpretive centre, solar heated swimming pool, 18-hole mini putt, archery, astronomy, birdwatching, the RASC designated dark sky preserve, wildlife viewing, cycling, a gift store, playground, fossil hunting, women’s weekend, star parties, and more.
Operates July to August, Wednesday to Sunday 9am – 9pm
May to June, September to November, Wednesday – Sunday 10am – 6:30pm
