After an 11-season absence, the Ontario Hockey League returns future NHL stars to North Bay starting in 2013-14 when the Brampton franchise relocates and becomes the North Bay Battalion.
The OHL continues to be the primary source of talent for the NHL, with approximately 25 percent of current NHL players being OHL graduates, including no fewer than 12 who wore Battalion colours in Brampton.
The Battalion places a priority on providing players with the best opportunity to develop their hockey skills, continue their education and participate in community events.
The organization is also committed to presenting an entertaining environment for fans, and to actively promote education through community appearances in elementary schools and in conjunction with local minor hockey participants.
