| The Township of McGarry administers municipal revenues to provide core municipal services to the general population of the community, including residents with disabilities, that include but are not limited to the provision of municipal water and sewer, road maintenance, snow removal, fire protection, waste disposal and, snow removal. In addition to the services that are required for the necessities of life, the Township also provides and maintains facilities for the recreational enjoyment of its residents such as the community center, children’s playgrounds, marina and, fitness centre. To learn about the history of the area and to obtain information about the community, visitors can visit the Tourist Information Centre located on Kerr Mine Road. To ensure the safety and health of the residents in the community, the Township provides space for the local nursing station. |
