Widgawa Lodge rests on the banks of the West River, just upstream from Charlton Lake. It lies at the heart of the La Cloche Mountains, in Northern Ontario, Canada.
While at Widgawa, you can venture out into the back-country and see the breathtaking scenery of the white La Cloche mountains and the crystal clear lakes of Killarney Provincial Park.
You can paddle deep blue waters, between white quartzite hills, explore enchanting islands, climb pink granite ridges with stunning views and ancient pines, and hike through old growth forest.
You can experience the awesome peace of the unspoiled wilderness, be in harmony with nature, get to know the quiet of still waters reflecting a sky of blazing stars.
You can even witness a concert of Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis), while staying at Widgawa.
The resort is nestled among tall silver birch, trembling aspen, and old growth white pine. We’re located 500 m east of Highway 6, on Widgawa Lodge Road, 16 km (10 miles) south of Espanola, and just 98 km(60 miles) north of South Baymouth, Manitoulin Island, and the MS Chi-Cheemaun ferry to Tobermory.
