Wolseley Lodge

Wolseley Lodge offers great fishing for avid and not as experienced anglers. Walleye/pickerel, bass, pike, musky and crappie are abundant in the area although the Rivers can be an exciting challenge. We have awesome Guides that can help you zone in on the species of your choice.

There are a variety of activities for all to enjoy at the picturesque and historic Wolseley Bay and French River. Canoes, kayaks, pedal boats and paddle boards are free of charge for our Guests. Our rustic cabins are extremely clean and comfortable and there are 8 cabins right on the Wolseley River and another 8 cabins are on the hill side of the property overlooking Wolseley Bay. The kid’s play area is located right next to the beach. The beach and Games Room (with a TV, pool table, dart board and various games and toys) can be enjoyed by children and adults alike. Our cabins are available to be rented on their own, or you can bring your own boat, or enjoy the perks of our Fishing Package that includes the cabin, 16′ Legend fishing boat, gas, live bait and firewood. Our Meal Plan offers everything in the Fishing Package as well as breakfast and dinner in our Dining Room and a “to go Lunch” made to order.

We have 16′ Legend fishing boats and 5 pontoons of various sizes that are available to rent individually as well. Wolseley Lodge is at the “top” of the midsection of the French River with 25 km of navigable water with lots of islands, bays and rapids to explore. Most of the shoreline is spectacularly untouched nature preserved by the French River Provincial Park, Crown Land, and Dokis First Nation Reserve. Your adventure awaits!
