Timmins & Area Golf Courses

Below is a list of Timmins golf courses and a couple that are located in the surrounding area. As you can see there is an impressive amount of golf courses in this area with some real quality clubs providing locals and visitors an opportunity to practice their game while enjoying the wonderful landscape and wildlife.

Timmins Area

Spruce Needles Golf Course

This special course is a not-for-profit organization that is proudly owned and operated by their members. A great junior program runs throughout the summer to promote young people getting into the sport. Tournament booking are always welcome and the practice facilities are top notch.

Hollinger Golf Club

Established in 1922 this course was originally built to encourage people to come and work at the Hollinger Mine but it has really transformed into a championship level course. Full practice facilities, a great restaurant and a beautiful patio help make this a great location for tournaments and events.

Sandy Falls Golf Course

This course loves to support he community and offers year round events. The summer months are full of welcoming tournaments on their forgiving but testing track.

Black River Golf & Country Club

This friendly 9-hole golf course located in Matheson Ontario is a great public course that is a great fit for all levels of players. With tournaments consistently spread out across the summer there is always something happening on the weekends at Black River Golf & Country Club.

Iroquois Falls

Abitibi Golf Club

A great experience is guaranteed here at Abitibi Golf Club because no matter how you are doing on the score card you will be taking in the beautiful Northeastern Ontario environment we call home. This open style 9-hole course can be friendly for beginners while providing and challenging opportunity for more advanced golfers to shoot a low round.
