VMUTS Spring Poker Run is On!

On Saturday May 25th, The Voyageur-Multi Use Trail System (VMUTS), is introducing the return of its long awaited ATV/UTV Spring Rally.  Over 300 kms of trails nestled in and around the Nipissing Forest, in the Township of Mattawan promises a spectacular ride for every ATV/UTV enthusiast. Mud, dirt, water holes, easy riding and the infamous Trail#666, VMUTS has it all!

As participation is limited to the first 200 entries, on-line registration in advance is highly recommended. Entry fee ranging from $30-$50, includes dinner and a poker hand. Cash prizes range from $200 to $500. More information and all details about the rally including on-line registration can be located at www.vmuts.ca/rally.

The trailhead, located less than 20 minutes from the Municipality of Papineau-Cameron, is directly accessible from Mattawa Adventure Camp. From the many ATV friendly and welcoming motels, campgrounds and resorts, you can trailer to the trailhead or to the Mike Rodden Area in Mattawa and ride from there. Mattawa Golf & Ski Resort, Two Rivers Motel, Welcome Inn, Lazy Rock RV Park & Campground and Mattawa River Resort & Cardinal Lodge are open for business and await your arrival!

In Mattawa, Le Voyageur Inn Hotel and Restaurant, and Valois’ Motel & Restaurant, offer ATV/UTV friendly accommodations and you can head straight to the registration table and trailhead from their doorsteps. Likewise for Sid Turcotte Camping & Cottage Resort, who have cabins and at this time, limited full-service RV sites available.
