For Paddlers

Smooth Rock Falls offers some top river adventure expeditions, with local guides providing instruction in both canoeing and sea-kayaking. Try Howling Wolf Expeditions—they also offer cross-country ski packages, snowshoeing, and ice fishing in the winter.

For Skiers and Snowshoers

Visit the Mattagami Cross Country Ski Club, which offers 18 kilometres of groomed cross-country ski trails, and 3 kilometres of snowshoe trails. The trails can also be used by hikers in the summer.

For Snowmobilers

Smooth Rock Falls has access to some of the world’s best snowmobile trails and longest riding season. Award-winning trails provided by the Arctic Riders Snowmobile Club access the famous Abitibi Canyon Tour and the Northern Corridor Adventure.

For ATVers

Smooth Rock Falls is known for its ATV trails and off-road link to Timmins. Check out the routes, like the Abitibi Canyon Tour—a well known wilderness adventure tour.
