Our Favourite Things To Do

The Best Snowmobiling on the Continent (Seriously)

The Seven’s snowmobile trails are legendary. Kapuskasing, Timmins, and Cochrane are some of the snowiest spots around, with thousands of kilometres of epic groomed trails winding through thick forests and frozen lakes. Find day trips from your hotel room door, or challenging multi-day rides through dramatic landscapes with breathtaking views and heavy snowfall. Your sled, your call.

Reel in the Big One

Ice fishing in The Seven is the perfect blend of relaxation and outdoor thrills—chilling with friends while waiting for the next big catch. Our hundreds of frozen lakes are prime spots for reeling in perch, walleye, and pike. Many operators provide fully equipped ice huts with propane cooktops, sleeping arrangements, and even bathroom facilities, making it easy to settle in and fish in comfort.

Powder, Peaks, and Perfect Runs

The Seven is home to some awesome downhill skiing spots, including the longest run (and the second-highest vertical drop) in Ontario. With runs for all skill levels, snow parks, and cozy apres vibes, this is a perfect winter getaway. From fast-paced descents to relaxed beginner runs, you'll find a ski hill that suits your style. And the crisp air and fresh powder make every run feel like the best one yet.
