Located on the eastern peninsula of Manitoulin Island and Point Grondine on the mainland, Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory is home to the largest Anishnaabek community (Ojibwe, Odawa, and Pottawatomi) on the Island.
Covering 55,781.1 hectares, this scenic territory offers visitors plenty of opportunity for outdoor adventure while experiencing the culture and traditions of the Anishinabek people.

Wikwemikong Annual Cultural Festival
Established in 1961 and the longest-running pow wow in Northeastern North America, this celebration of arts, culture, and dance, is a bucket list event. The three-day festival features Anishinaabe arts & crafts, champion Anishinaabe dance, Anishinaabe cuisine, Wiikwemkoong Art Gallery, and cross cultural performances.

Indigenous Culinary Experiences Tour
These seasonal tours offer visitors a chance to experience Anishnaabek cuisine from a knowledgeable guide. The different tours include a variety of locally sourced options including stone cooked venison, cedar plank Georgian Bay trout, evergreen foraged tea, sumac lemonade, local mushrooms, and wild rice.
