Caitlin enjoys heading out onto Ontario’s backroads to find the best flea markets, tea rooms, hiking trails, and quaint villages as well as taking advantage of the many amazing art galleries, tapas bars, fashion boutiques, and reimagined historic buildings in Ontario’s towns and cities.
Brittany Wright is a mother of 2, crazy dog lady, and proud Northern Ontario resident. She created CDN Mom Blog as a place to share stories and experiences aimed at helping other Canadian based moms. She likes coffee, pick-up trucks, and travel, and doesn’t mind living where the air hurts her face.
Veronica has been a freelance writer for over 25 years writing for newspapers, magazines, radio and communications for federal government departments. After starting her travelling adventures in Spain with her husband, they began visiting wineries all over the world. While living in Halifax, Veronica fell in love with Nova Scotia wine, leading to her starting up her travelling wine blog.
Hilary is a writer, cyclist, explorer and local enthusiast. She enjoys cooking, travelling to new places, and a variety of outdoor activities (including, but not limited to: hiking, kayaking, and winter jogging).

Professional photographer and writer James Smedley’s contributions - more than 400 written pieces and close to 1,000 images - to U.S. and Canadian books, magazines and newspapers have earned him over 40 National and International awards. In addition to teaching photography workshops, James is Travel Editor at Ontario OUT OF DOORS Magazine. James has fly fished for brook trout and arctic grayling in far northern rivers and continues to cast for trout, bass and steelhead near his home in the northern Ontario town of Wawa where he lives with his wife Francine and daughters Islay and Lillian.
Kate Pocock is an award-winning travel writer who has published hundreds of articles in newspapers, magazines and online. As an editor, she helped to launch five publications including two travel magazines. Her favourite pastime, however, is to travel with her three kids, or nine nieces and nephews to discover intriguing stories.
